What was the best compliment you’ve received?
One of the rare moments I put pretty make-up and dress on is during one of my best friend’s wedding in 2021.
I looked my best at 47 kg. I had my curly hair fixed with gel. My make-up was on fleek. My dress was pretty, and I even put cute clips on!
During the reception, all the bridesmaids were called on stage. While everyone was being called pretty and outstanding, the host on the microphone walked up to me and told me “You look smart.”
My cateye was as confused as my peach lipstick when I spent at least an hour to fix my entire appearance to be called “smart.” How does that even show through?
It’s not the best compliment I’ve ever received which I know contradicts the theme of the prompt today, but this has got to be the most memorable one.
